FAQ’s for Bali Tour :
Heading for Bali vacations with us with us?
Drop in your worries to email@example.com, we have answers to all your questions!
Here are few questions which everyone probably has while heading to the tropical Island – Bali.
Q: What is the Visa process for Bali?
A: General Rule: Your passport must be AT LEAST 6 months valid from the day of your arrival in Bali! This is non negotiable (The airline will deny your departure / boarding the plane). Also, your passport pages must have space for the visa stamp! If you stay less than 30 days then you do NOT NEED any Visa if you have an Indian passport. At the immigration counter you will get Visa Exemption Stamp. There are no costs involved; it’s not a visa in a classical sense. Yet, the stamp allows the officials to track your length of stay. Stamping takes approx 45 mins.
Q: When should you reach the airport?
A: Very important thing to do before an international flight is that one should do a web check in (web check in window opens 48 hours prior to the departure) in advance to select the seats and also recheck the for the flight status. Always, reach airport 3 hours prior to the departure of the flight. Try and confirm the terminal of the flight(s) in case the city of departure has multiple terminals. Call the airline customer care if you face any difficulty.
A Simple Web- check-in tutorial uploaded by Air Asia – For further details, go through this video.
Q: What is the total baggage weight allowed per PAX?
A: Most of the aircrafts have similar rule segments for weight allowed to be carried by a passenger which might be as follows:
Full-Service Carrier (All carriers except LCC)
a) 25 kg /30 kg cabin baggage
b) 7 kg hand baggage
Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) – Namely Air Asia / Scoot / Malindo (Super Saver Fares)
Only 7 kg hand baggage
Do check all the baggage details if you have multiple flight carriers, because the baggage allowed might be different and you are forced to pay extra for the luggage.
Our Suggestions for flights are AirAsia, Malaysia Airline & Singapore Airlines.
Q: Are any meals included in the flight?
A: In all full-service carriers, it is usually included. Please check the ticket for meals before booking.
Q: Do the hotels in Bali serve sufficient vegetarian dishes? In Buffet and otherwise?
A: Indonesians respect every culture; many hotels serve veg dishes and there are so many Indian restaurants in and around Bali. Do get in touch with us, we will help you out for the same.
Q: What to do if we reach earlier than the check-in time?
A: You will be escorted to the hotel by the our representative, where you can have rest in the waiting lounge of the hotel or sit by the poolside till your room is ready for check-in. If the waiting time is more, one can visit nearby shops and cafés around the hotel. P.S. Your luggage will be dropped at the hotel for your convenience.
Q: Do hotels accept International cards/cash (IDR) as well?
A: Yes, a majority of the hotels in Bali accept International debit and credit cards, and IDR cash as well.
Q: Are other services like Pool, Gym included in the Deluxe Room package as well?
A: Yes, all such amenities which are common hotel amenities are accessible to all the guests. For more details, please visit the hotel website where you are going to stay.
Q: What are documents one needs to carry at all for Visa or otherwise?
A: Please read the attached Visa link to know what all documents are required.
Tip: Send a scanned copy of your documents to your email address, this way you can always access the soft copy of your documents.
Q: Ideally how much overall Cash/currency is required to be carried based on the itinerary?
A: As per the international standards you need to carry this in USD or Local Indonesian Currency. If you are in Bali for 5 nights, you should carry 250 USD ideally.
Please note – Don’t carry cash in Indian Currency to Bali as it is not an international currency the exchange rate you will get for Indian currency in Bali would be very disheartening. Most of our clients carry USD as it is global currency which can be easily converted to IDR by paying a small commission of 2-3%.
Q: Does the provided SIM has enabled the internet data facility as well?
A: We provide one pre-loaded sim card on arrival with 4 GB of data.
Q: Is carrying any generic medicines to Bali any concern to authorities at the airport?
A: The Bali airport authority is very strict about medicines and food being brought into Bali. So, we recommend you to carry the prescription for all medicines you are carrying in clear handwritten prescription by a govt doctor.
Q: What about Travel insurance when you are traveling to Bali?
A: Even though Travel Insurance is not a mandatory requirement to get the visa or travel to Bali but we recommend that you should get a travel insurance for your travel either from your Bank so that claim settlement is smoothly handled or from our resource. Link as follows: Getting insurance from us is also great, but we need to inform you that we are not insurance experts so for all claim settlement you will have to consult the insurance company for whose link we have shared. We personally recommend everyone to get Travel Insurance, because all the medical facilities in Bali are extremely expensive. We can arrange for your Travel insurance as per your requirement.
Q: What is the time difference between India and Bali?
A: Bali time zone is (GMT+8). Which is 2.5 hrs ahead of us.
